What did Nine confirm for The Block in 2027?

Season 23 moves to Jacksons Hill in Sunbury, about 40 minutes north-west of Melbourne. Nine has bought three heritage buildings there from the Victorian Government, constructed roughly 170 years ago, and Scott Cam and Shelley Craft will put five teams through converting them into family homes.

Nine calls it the most ambitious project the program has attempted, which is the sort of line every season gets. The difference this time is the paperwork: heritage buildings come with restoration rules that a blank block of land in this year's Mt Eliza season never had.

There is a Stan companion as well, The Block: The House Next Door, in which former contestants renovate a sixth property near the main site. Casting for 2027 opened before the Upfront, which is the earliest reliable signal that a season is real.

Who is the new Married at First Sight expert?

Marryam Chehelnabi, a clinical psychotherapist who was the lead therapist on Couples Therapy Australia. She joins Alessandra Rampolla and John Aiken, taking the panel from two to three for season 14.

Chehelnabi holds a Master of Science in Medicine from the University of Sydney and a Master of Counselling and Applied Psychotherapy. Nine has not said how the three experts will split the commitment ceremonies between them.

Where is Love Island Australia filmed in 2027?

Fiji, in the villa Love Island USA uses. Sophie Monk returns as host for season 8, and a "Power Couples" twist will hand some contestants control over parts of the competition.

The numbers behind the renewal are unusually specific for an Upfront: Nine says the last season averaged 627,000 on BVOD per episode and 959 million streamed minutes. A second Stan strand, Love Island Australia: Unseen. Uncut., will drop extra footage daily.

10 has confirmed the Rivals theme but not a date. TV Blackbox's Media McKnight column reports, citing sources rather than the network, that the season will run from January 2027 in the timeslot I'm a Celebrity used to hold — against the Australian Open and against the launch of MAFS.

Treat the January claim as a report until 10 says so. If it holds, it is a considerably harder draw than the Sunday-to-Tuesday winter run the format has had, and the same column suggests it may be the last Survivor on 10 for a while.
