All twelve room weeks have been played, so there are no build nights left. Nine's explainer, posted on 27 October, says the auctions air on Channel 9 and 9Now on Sunday 1 November at 7pm. The two off-pattern weeks, with the NRL Grand Final on Sunday 4 October, are explained in why The Block wasn't on Sunday 4 October.
Quick answer: The Block 2026 is on Nine and 9Now, and it is not on this Wednesday: the build nights ended with Front Yard and Façade Week, and the next episode is the auction on Sunday 1 November at 7.00pm, Sydney time.
- Season 22 is set in Mt Eliza, Victoria, with Scott Cam and Shelley Craft hosting.
- A normal week has no episode on Thursday, Friday or Saturday. The weeks of 28 September and 5 October were the exception, with an episode on Thursday 1 October and Thursday 8 October.

What nights is The Block on in 2026?
Four nights, and the pattern hasn't moved since the Sunday 2 August premiere. Sunday is reveal night, when the judges walk through the finished rooms and hand out scores. Monday to Wednesday follows the build.
That rhythm matters if you're dodging spoilers. A room is finished on the Sunday episode, so Monday's show opens with the fallout and the next room's budget problems.

The same time you'd see in Sydney. This is the part most listings get wrong, including an earlier version of this page: converting the Sydney start into your own time zone gives you the wrong answer, because the affiliates delay their feeds so prime time stays in prime time.

Kitchens are usually the most expensive single room of a Block season, which is why the weeks either side of that reveal tend to be where budgets crack.
Who is on The Block 2026?
Five teams, one house each. Going by the reveal videos on the show's YouTube channel, they're Adam and Jolene, Chantel and Wyatt, Courtney and Sev, Lisa and Rosco, and Rick and Tayla.
Adam and Jolene's first weekly win came in the living and dining rooms, revealed on Sunday 6 September. Judge Marty Fox's explainer on the show's channel covers how an unfinished room once outscored a finished one, worth two minutes if the numbers confuse you.
It's been bumpy off camera too. Foreman Dan left site in early September for the birth of his baby, and Nine's clips from 8 September introduced his replacement alongside a returning Block all-star.
When is The Block 2026 auction?
Sunday 1 November, at 7pm Sydney time on Channel 9 and 9Now, according to Nine's own auction-day explainer, posted on Tuesday 27 October. TVmaze lists it as a 105-minute episode. Mediaweek had reported the same date on 15 October, citing Domain, and our auction date guide has the season-by-season comparison.
For scale, TV Central's ratings report dated 7 September put The Block at 1.09 million viewers, a big number for a show in its sixth week on air.
Is The Block on on Thursdays?
Not in a normal week, but it was on Thursday 1 October. When sport takes Nine's Sunday, the reveal moves to Monday and the build nights shift to Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. That happened in the week of 28 September, and TVmaze has the same shape for the week of 5 October, with an episode listed for Thursday 8 October. Friday and Saturday stay Block-free.
A normal week is therefore four episodes and about five hours of television, reveal included: 300 to 325 minutes on this season's listed lengths.
