How to Watch The Block 2026: Nights, Times in Every State and 9Now

Quick answer: The Block 2026 is on Nine and 9Now four nights a week: Sunday at 7.00pm and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7.30pm AEST. Kitchen Week starts tonight, Monday 14 September, and the Kitchen Reveal lands on Sunday 20 September.
- Season 22 is set in Mt Eliza, Victoria, with Scott Cam and Shelley Craft hosting.
- There's no episode on Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
- Nine hasn't announced an auction date. Reports point to late October or early November.

What nights is The Block on in 2026?
Four nights, same pattern every week since the 2 August premiere. Sunday is the reveal night, when the judges walk through the finished rooms and hand out scores. Monday to Wednesday follows the build.
That rhythm matters if you're trying to avoid spoilers. A room is finished on the Sunday episode, so Monday's show opens with the fallout and the new week's budget problems.
| Night | Sydney time (AEST) | Length this week | What usually happens |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sunday | 7.00pm | about 90 min | Room reveal, scores, weekly winner |
| Monday | 7.30pm | 75 min | New room starts, budgets and trades |
| Tuesday | 7.30pm | 70 min | Build days, challenges |
| Wednesday | 7.30pm | 70 min | Deadline pressure, styling |
Lengths are the IceTV listings for 14–16 September. Sunday's figure is last week's Guest Suite Reveal.
What time is The Block on in my state?
Here's where it gets fiddly. The table below converts the Sydney broadcast to each capital's clock. It's the time you'd see if you watched the east-coast feed.
| City | Zone now | Sunday | Mon–Wed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Hobart | AEST | 7.00pm | 7.30pm |
| Brisbane | AEST | 7.00pm | 7.30pm |
| Adelaide, Darwin | ACST | 6.30pm | 7.00pm |
| Perth | AWST | 5.00pm | 5.30pm |
One caution. Nine's stations in Adelaide, Darwin and Perth set their own local line-ups, and we haven't confirmed their times for this week. If you're west of the Queensland border, check the 9Now guide for your city before you sit down.
Daylight saving shifts things again from Sunday 4 October. Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart move to AEDT, while Brisbane stays on AEST, so the Brisbane clock drops an hour behind Sydney.
| From 4 October | Zone | 7.30pm Sydney equals |
|---|---|---|
| Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Hobart | AEDT | 7.30pm |
| Brisbane | AEST | 6.30pm |
| Adelaide | ACDT | 7.00pm |
| Darwin | ACST | 6.00pm |
| Perth | AWST | 4.30pm |

Can I stream The Block on 9Now?
Yes. 9Now carries the live Nine channel and puts each episode up on demand after it airs, and it's free with a 9Now login. The show's official YouTube channel also posts short clips and every team's reveal the day after a Sunday episode.
If you missed last Sunday, the reveal videos are the fastest way to catch up without sitting through 90 minutes. They don't show the scoring discussion in full, though.
What happens in Kitchen Week?
Kitchens are usually the most expensive single room of a Block season, so this is the week budgets crack. Nine's guide listing for tonight says the teams start on "the heart of their homes" and there's friction in the share house.
Tuesday's episode brings Block all-stars on site with a challenge. By Wednesday, the synopsis has Shelley helping Tayla with styling and teases "100,000 reasons" to win the week. The finished kitchens are judged on Sunday 20 September at 7.00pm, the same minute The Voice's first semi-final starts, and our weekly schedules track both.
After that comes Rumpus and Laundry Week, listed on TVmaze for 21–23 September, with its reveal on Sunday 27 September.
Who is on The Block 2026?
Five teams, one house each. Going by the reveal videos on the show's YouTube channel, they're Adam and Jolene, Chantel and Wyatt, Courtney and Sev, Lisa and Rosco, and Rick and Tayla.
Adam and Jolene took their first weekly win in Living, Dining and Terrace Week, which was revealed on Sunday 6 September. The show's channel also has judge Marty Fox explaining how an unfinished room managed to outscore a finished one, which is worth two minutes if the numbers confuse you.
It's been a bumpy few weeks off camera too. Foreman Dan left site in early September for the birth of his baby, and Nine's clips from 8 September introduced his replacement alongside a returning Block all-star.
When is The Block 2026 auction?
Not confirmed. Domain, which covers the show closely, says the auction finale is expected in late October or early November. Nine hasn't published a date, and we won't guess one.
For a sense of scale, TV Central's ratings report for 7 September had The Block at 1.09 million viewers. That's a big audience for a show seven weeks into its run.
Is The Block on Thursday this week?
No, and it never is during a normal week. On Thursday 17 September Nine fills 7.30pm with an 80-minute Tipping Point special for Nine's 70th birthday, which is also the night The Voice is off.
