Is The Block on every night this week?
Four of the seven. Monday opens Kitchen Week with a 75-minute episode, and Nine's synopsis mentions friction in the share house. Tuesday and Wednesday run 70 minutes each.
On Tuesday, Block all-stars drop in with a challenge. Wednesday's listing has Shelley helping Tayla style her space and dangles "100,000 reasons" to win the week, though Nine hasn't spelled out what that means.
What time is The Voice on this week?
Monday at 7.30pm for Quarter Final 2, with Team Melanie C and Team Kate. Then nothing until Sunday, when Semi Final 1 starts at 7.00pm and runs two hours.
Monday's episode is listed at 100 minutes, so it runs to about 9.10pm, and Sunday's semi-final at 120 minutes, finishing about 9.00pm. Both are longer than The Block on the same nights.
Seven hasn't listed a second semi-final or the grand final. Our Voice finals page will carry those dates once they're out.
How many hours of reality TV is that?
By our count from the guide, about seven and a half hours of new episodes across the week: The Block's 75, 70 and 70 minutes plus roughly 90 for the reveal, and The Voice's 100 and 120. Ads included, of course.
More than half of it lands on just two nights, Monday and Sunday. Tuesday and Wednesday are Block-only evenings at a little over an hour each.
Why isn't The Block or The Voice on Thursday?
Neither show uses Thursday in its normal pattern. The Block is a Sunday-to-Wednesday show, and The Voice has been Sunday and Monday through the finals.
This Thursday Nine is marking its 70th anniversary at 7.30pm with an 80-minute Tipping Point special. Todd Woodbridge has three pairs of Nine personalities playing for $40,000 for charity. Our sister site's quiz TV week has the rest of that night.

Which show should I watch on Sunday night?
They start at exactly the same minute, 7.00pm, so something has to be recorded or streamed. Reveal nights are where The Block's scores and weekly wins get decided, while Sunday's Voice is the first semi-final.
A practical split: watch whichever result you care about live and catch the other on its app afterwards. 9Now and 7plus both put episodes on demand once they've aired.
What happened on reality TV last week?
The Voice finished its knockouts on Sunday 6 and Monday 7 September, then opened the quarter-finals last night, Sunday 13 September. On The Block, Adam and Jolene won Living, Dining and Terrace Week, and last night's episode revealed the guest suites.
We aren't reporting the guest suite scores here because we didn't verify them from the broadcast. Nine's reveal clips on YouTube show each team's room if you want to judge for yourself.
How big are these shows?
Big. TV Central's ratings report for 7 September had The Block at 1.09 million viewers.
It also explains the scheduling. Both networks are putting their finals and reveals into the same Sunday and Monday slots, so audiences have to choose, and the apps get busy the next morning.
Do the times change for daylight saving?
Not this week. Daylight saving starts on Sunday 4 October, when Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart move to AEDT and Brisbane doesn't. From then, a 7.30pm Sydney start is 6.30pm on a Brisbane clock unless Nine or Seven's Queensland stations shift it. The Block guide has the full conversion table.
What's coming after this week?
The Block rolls straight into Rumpus and Laundry Week from Monday 21 September, with that reveal on Sunday 27 September, according to TVmaze. Its auction finale is expected late October or early November but isn't confirmed.
Further out, Australian Survivor: Rivals and Married at First Sight season 14 are both 2027 shows. Neither has a premiere date, and we keep what's known under Australian Survivor and MAFS.
Big Brother is due back on 10 in October without a date yet. Our Big Brother guide lists what's known.
