All times are AEDT for Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart, because daylight saving started on Sunday 4 October, when clocks went forward at 2.00am in those states. Queensland, Darwin and Perth don't change their clocks, so their listings are an hour or more behind that.
Is The Block on next week?
Yes, Monday to Thursday. It's the first week after the Grand Final Sunday gap, when Nine hands 4 October to the NRL. The reveal that missed Sunday goes out on Monday 5 October at 7.30pm AEDT, as yourTV and IceTV had it when we checked on Thursday 1 October, and TVmaze still lists it that way as of Sunday 4 October.
Our explainer on why the Block skipped Grand Final Sunday has the full Sunday rundown, and last week's planner covers the run up to it.
What happens on The Block from Monday to Thursday?
Monday settles the Kids Room and Re-Do Room rooms, so it's a 100-minute scoring night. Which couple wins that week's prize comes out on air, and we won't guess it here.
Tuesday starts Outdoor Terrace and Pool Week. TVmaze lists it at 75 minutes, then 70 minutes each on Wednesday and Thursday. Nine hasn't filed episode summaries for those nights yet in the guides we can read, so what the teams are building stays unconfirmed until nearer the time.
Every night so far is in the Block archive, and Kitchen Week's scoring is in our 16 September results.
Is The Block on Friday 9 or Saturday 10 October?
No. Nine's weeknights stop at Thursday in the listings, and neither Friday nor Saturday has a Block episode. It's the same shape as the week before: build nights early, then a break until Sunday.
When is the Outdoor Terrace and Pool Reveal?
Sunday 11 October at 7.00pm AEDT, 100 minutes, back in the usual Sunday slot. TVmaze had it first, and Nine's yourTV guide for Sydney carried the same listing when we checked on Monday 5 October.
Sunday is the day Nine has moved twice in two weeks for sport, so check the guide on the day. Our how to watch The Block guide keeps the standing nights, and the maths on the final is in our auction date guide.
Does daylight saving change The Block's times?
Not the clock time in Sydney or Melbourne. 7.30pm stays 7.30pm, it's just AEDT from Sunday 4 October. What changes is the gap to the states that skip daylight saving.
- Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Hobart — 7.30pm AEDT
- Adelaide — 7.00pm ACDT
- Brisbane — 6.30pm AEST
- Darwin — 6.00pm ACST
Nine schedules Brisbane and Perth locally, so those two may differ from this conversion. The capital city times guide explains how each state is handled.
Is The Voice on next week?
No. The Voice Australia finished on Sunday 27 September and Seven has nothing from it in the week of 5 October. The finals recap is on our Voice finals page.
When does Big Brother Australia 2026 start?
Still "October" and nothing more. Mediaweek reported on 8 September that 10 had not set a date, and its coverage still doesn't give one. TVmaze has no 2026 Big Brother episodes in the 5 to 11 October window, so the premiere isn't listed for that week, and yourTV's Sydney guide shows no Big Brother on 10 in those seven days either. Host Mel Tracina and the Brisbane house are in our Big Brother 2026 guide.
What about Survivor and MAFS?
Both belong to 2027, with no dates yet. The 2027 reality line-up tracks what's confirmed. Quiz fans can find the weeknight game shows on our sister site, AU Quiz On Air.
