Australian Reality TV Next Week (21–27 September, 2026): Four Nights of The Block

Nine holds the only new reality episodes in next week's guide, and every one of them belongs to The Block. Here is Monday 21 to Sunday 27 September exactly as the broadcasters have filed it.
| Day | Date | AEST | Channel / stream | What's on |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monday | 21 Sep | 7.30pm | Nine / 9Now | The Block, Rumpus and Laundry Week (75 min) |
| Tuesday | 22 Sep | 7.30pm | Nine / 9Now | The Block, Rumpus and Laundry Week day 2 (70 min) |
| Wednesday | 23 Sep | 7.30pm | Nine / 9Now | The Block, Rumpus and Laundry Week day 3 (75 min) |
| Thursday | 24 Sep | — | — | No new Block or Voice episode listed |
| Friday | 25 Sep | — | — | Nothing new from the shows we track |
| Saturday | 26 Sep | — | — | Nothing new from the shows we track |
| Sunday | 27 Sep | 7.00pm | Nine / 9Now | The Block, Rumpus and Laundry Reveal (100 min) |
Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Hobart clock times. Adelaide and Darwin sit 30 minutes behind; Nine's Perth feed is scheduled locally.
The gist: The Block builds on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7.30pm AEST, then reveals two rooms on Sunday at 7.00pm. Nothing from The Voice is listed after this Sunday's semi-final. Big Brother is still just "October".
What's on The Block next week?
Four episodes, all on Nine, and a new room pairing. Monday starts Rumpus and Laundry Week, a double build that Nine's own synopsis says pushes the teams "to their limits" before Scotty Cam drops in a challenge.
Tuesday's listing is blunter: teamwork is not always the dream work, and the teams have to deliver two rooms while giving something back to the community. Wednesday adds design arguments, with Nine billing this lot as the most competitive Blockheads yet chasing a luxe finish.
Sunday 27 September is where it lands. The Rumpus and Laundry Reveal runs 100 minutes from 7.00pm, which is the same shape as every reveal this season and as this Sunday's $100,000 kitchen judging. If you want the run-up, our Wednesday night file from Kitchen Week has the scores and the $100,000 twist, and the full Block archive has each night in order.
What time does each Block episode finish?
Nine has filed the episodes at 75, 70 and 75 minutes for the three build nights, and 100 minutes for the Sunday reveal. Doing the arithmetic:
- Monday 21 Sep — 7.30pm to about 8.45pm
- Tuesday 22 Sep — 7.30pm to about 8.40pm
- Wednesday 23 Sep — 7.30pm to about 8.45pm
- Sunday 27 Sep — 7.00pm to about 8.40pm
That is 5 hours 20 minutes of Block across the week, and by our count of the published guide it is the entire new-reality output of the three commercial networks between Monday and Sunday. One show, four nights, nothing else new.
Live broadcasts slip when news or sport runs over, so read those finish times as Nine's intention rather than a guarantee. The nightly starting times have held all season, which is more than the back half of the schedule can say.

Is The Voice on next week?
Not as the guide stands this Saturday morning. Seven airs Semi Final (1) this Sunday 20 September at 7.00pm, and after that neither IceTV's listings nor TVmaze carries another Voice episode through to early October.
That is a gap in the listings, not proof the season has ended. Eight singers are still in it after the quarter-finals, so at least a grand final has to go somewhere. Seven simply has not filed the rest of the finals with the guide providers, and listings normally firm up about a week out — which puts Sunday 27 September squarely in play. Our Voice finals page carries whatever Seven has actually published.
When is The Voice Australia grand final?
No date. TV Blackbox's 15 September story named the eight semi-finalists and confirmed the Sunday 7.00pm semi-final, then stopped — there was no grand final date in it, and Seven has not put one out since.
Two coaches have two acts each going into the semi, so the field halves again before any final. Until Seven files it, any date you see for the grand final is a guess dressed as a listing.
Has Big Brother got a start date yet?
October, and nothing tighter than that. Network 10 confirmed the return in a promo that Variety Australia and Mediaweek both wrote up in early September, with a new house in Brisbane and Mel Tracina hosting.
No premiere date, no housemates, no nights. The 2025 season ran Sunday to Friday at 7.30pm, and that is precedent rather than an announcement — worth knowing, not worth planning around. Details as they stand are in our Big Brother 2026 guide, and the longer view is in our 2027 line-up rundown.
Which nights have nothing new?
Thursday 24, Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September. Nine gives Thursday and Friday over to news and A Current Affair, and Seven stacks three Home and Away episodes at 7.00pm on Thursday. On Sunday 27, 10 puts Gogglebox Australia at 7.30pm against the back half of the Block reveal.
The quiz hour does not take the week off, though. Five-o'clock and seven-o'clock slots run every weeknight on Seven, Nine and 10 — our sister site's guide to 10's Deal or No Deal and Hot Seat hour covers that block. For comparison with this week, see our 14–20 September guide.
Where can you stream all of it?
The Block goes up on 9Now, free, generally within an hour of the broadcast finishing, and past episodes of the season sit there too. The Voice lives on 7plus, and Big Brother will land on 10Play when it starts.
None of the three needs a paid subscription — an account and an email address is the whole cost. If you are working out which nights matter in your state, our Block nights and times guide breaks the schedule down state by state.
FAQ
Is The Block on every night next week?
No. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday only. Thursday, Friday and Saturday have no new episode.
What time is The Block in Adelaide and Perth?
Adelaide and Darwin run 30 minutes behind the eastern clock, so 7.30pm AEST is 7.00pm there. Perth is scheduled by Nine's WA feed rather than a straight two-hour subtraction, so check the local guide.
Does daylight saving change any of this?
Not next week. NSW, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and the ACT move to daylight saving on Sunday 4 October, and from that date Brisbane sits an hour behind the eastern clock.
