Australian Reality TV Next Week (19–25 October, 2026): Block Mon–Wed, Sunday Reveal Listed
Bottom line: The Block is back on Nine and 9Now on Monday 19, Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 October, then it's off until a Sunday reveal that TVmaze lists for 25 October.
- The Block, Front Yard and Façade Week: Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 October start at 7.31pm AEDT in Nine's Sydney guide, Wednesday 21 October at 7.30pm.
- Thursday 22 and Friday 23 October have no Block. Nine's guide has RBT and Chateau DIY Australia in the 7.30pm slot.
- Big Brother isn't on yet. The premiere is reported for Monday 26 October at 7.30pm on 10, one day after this planner's week ends.
Is The Block on next week?
Yes, for three nights. After Sunday's Backyard and Garage Reveal, the show moves to the front of the houses. Here is the week of 19 October as the guides had it on Saturday 17 October.
| Date | Time (AEDT) | Channel/stream | What's on |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mon 19 Oct | 7.31pm | Nine / 9Now | The Block, episode 46 (68 min in Nine's guide) |

| Wed 21 Oct | 7.30pm | Nine / 9Now | The Block, episode 48 (75 min) |
| Thu 22 Oct | — | — | No Block. Nine has RBT at 7.30pm |
| Fri 23 Oct | — | — | No Block. Nine has Chateau DIY Australia at 7.30pm |

| Sun 25 Oct | 7.00pm | Nine / 9Now | The Block, Front Yard and Façade Reveal, episode 49 (100 min in TVmaze; not yet in Nine's guide) |
Start times and running times for Monday to Wednesday are from yourTV's Sydney guide for Nine. TVmaze shows 70, 70 and 75 minutes for the same three nights, so expect a few minutes of difference between guides.
For what led into this week, see the 14 October episode page and last week's planner.
Why is there no Block on Thursday 22 or Friday 23 October?
Nine hasn't said. What we can see is the listing: on Thursday the Sydney guide has A Current Affair at 7.00pm, RBT at 7.30pm, Paramedics at 8.30pm and RPA at 9.30pm. On Friday it has Chateau DIY Australia at 7.30pm and London Has Fallen at 8.30pm.
That matches the three-weeknight pattern in our how to watch The Block guide, the same shape as the week of 12 October, which we covered in the schedule-change explainer when a Sunday slipped.
What happens on The Block from Monday to Wednesday?
TVmaze labels all three nights Front Yard and Façade Week. Nine's own summaries are thin. Monday's says budgets are tight and one team has a tense conversation with their landscaper. Tuesday's says Adam tries to block other teams from reaching their front yards, and two rival teams break bread together.
Wednesday's entry in Nine's guide repeats Tuesday's wording word for word, so we'd treat it as a placeholder until Nine files its own. TVmaze's Wednesday line is different: front yard landscaping is taking its toll as teams try to build show-stopping features.
Every night so far is in the Block archive, and the most recent room scores we've published are in the 5 October results.
When is the Front Yard and Façade Reveal?
TVmaze lists it for Sunday 25 October at 7.00pm, episode 49, running 100 minutes. That's the normal Sunday reveal slot.
It's a single listing for now. When we read yourTV on Saturday 17 October, Nine's guide only ran as far as Friday 23 October, so we can't yet say Nine agrees. Nine has moved a Sunday reveal twice this season, on 27 September and 4 October, so check the guide closer to the day.
Can I watch The Block during the day?
Yes. Nine's Sydney guide has a midday encore of the previous night's episode at 12.00pm on Monday 19, Tuesday 20, Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 October. 9Now carries each episode on demand as well. Clock times in other capitals are in our capital city times guide.
Is Big Brother Australia on next week?
No. 10's Sydney guide has no Big Brother from Sunday 18 to Friday 23 October. TV Blackbox reported on 6 October that it returns on Monday 26 October at 7.30pm on 10, six nights a week, with Mel Tracina hosting from a new Brisbane house. Our Big Brother 2026 guide has the rest.
What about The Voice, Survivor and MAFS?
Nothing in the week of 19 October. The Voice Australia finished on Sunday 27 September, and TVmaze lists no Australian Survivor or Married at First Sight episodes between 19 and 25 October. The 2027 reality line-up tracks what has been confirmed for next year, and the auction date guide covers the finale question.
