The gist:

Home Beautiful's reveal story and the fan recap site TheBlock.tv have the same five totals, so that's the table above. The episode went out at 7.30pm AEDT on Nine, a day later than usual because the NRL Grand Final had Sunday; our explainer on the Grand Final gap covers that.

Who won the kids room reveal on The Block tonight?

Courtney and Sev, from House 4, with a 10 from each of the three judges. Their kids' bedroom was colour-drenched in pastel pink and blue, with a mural behind two single beds and a custom wave-shaped bedhead joining them. Home Beautiful says the judges thought it was the first kids' room they'd seen that really committed to colour.

The re-do half was their living and dining room. They'd been marked down earlier in the season for leaving out a fireplace, and this time they put one in. TheBlock.tv quotes Darren Palmer calling it "one of the best living spaces in Block history".

It's their fifth room win of the season by our count (weeks 1, 2, 6, 8 and now 9), and TheBlock.tv's recap has Scott Cam saying the same number on air.

How did the other four teams score?

Lisa and Rosco's 29 came from an Australiana-themed kids' room with a reading nook and a triple bunk, plus a reworked guest suite. TheBlock.tv's recap says the missing point was Darren Palmer's, over skirting that hadn't been painted. We've only seen that detail in one place.

Adam and Jolene and Rick and Tayla tied on 21.5. Both outlets say the judges couldn't find the "kid" in Adam and Jolene's bedroom, and Home Beautiful adds that it had no built-in wardrobe. Their second go at the week 1 guest bedroom didn't change enough to move the score.

Rick and Tayla designed for a tween instead of a small child. The idea went down well; the finish didn't. Home Beautiful mentions a missing door handle and says the living room re-do felt "half done".

Chantel and Wyatt's 17.5 is the lowest score of the week. The judges had told them to turn their living room around to face the view, and they didn't. Home Beautiful reports that Marty Fox called them "ask holes": people who ask for advice and then let it go down the hole.

What did Courtney and Sev win?

Nine's listing for the episode advertised $10,000. TheBlock.tv's recap puts the full haul at $50,000: $10,000 for the room, $10,000 from Domain for the re-do and $30,000 for the three 10s, plus a winery stay. That breakdown is from one source, so treat the larger figure as theirs for now.

The same recap gives Chantel and Wyatt the $10,000 CommBank Better Budgeting award, which would be some comfort after finishing last.

It also evens up the week. Adam and Jolene won $50,000 at Thursday's Domain Buyers Jury, according to both Home Beautiful and TheBlock.tv, and Courtney and Sev ran last in that one.

Who's leading The Block 2026 after nine weeks?

Courtney and Sev, and it isn't a one-point race any more. We keep a running tally of every reveal score. Going into Monday they were on 202.5 and Adam and Jolene were on 201.5. A 30 against a 21.5 stretches that to nine and a half points.

Two footnotes on our sums. Adam and Jolene's week 7 kitchen scored 29 from the judges and became 30 once they played their bonus point gnome, according to Home Beautiful's kitchen story and Wikipedia's table, so we've used 30. And Rick and Tayla's week 8 score is 24 in TV Blackbox and Wikipedia but 23.5 on TheBlock.tv, which would make their total 193.

Weekly scores decide prizes, not the season. The Block is won at auction, so the table is a form guide and nothing more. The week 8 numbers are on our Rumpus and Laundry results page, and Adam and Jolene's 30 is in the Kitchen Week reveal story.

When is the next Block reveal?

Sunday 11 October at 7.00pm AEDT on Nine and 9Now. Nine's yourTV guide and TVmaze both list it as the Outdoor Terrace and Pool Reveal, episode 41, back in the usual Sunday slot.

Before that there are three build nights: Tuesday 6, Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 October, all at 7.30pm AEDT. That's the first of three outdoor weeks left on Home Beautiful's room list, with the backyard and garage and then the front yard and facade still to come. Our planner for 5 to 11 October has each night, and Monday's episode guide has the running times.

Auction day hasn't been dated by Nine. Our auction date guide tracks what's known, how to watch The Block covers 9Now catch-up, and older results sit under Who Went Home and on our Block page.
