Bottom line: The Block's Kitchen Week Reveal runs 7.00pm to 8.41pm tonight on Nine and 9Now, with $100,000 attached to the winning kitchen. The Voice semi-final starts at the same minute on Seven and runs half an hour longer. Every capital city gets both at 7.00pm on its own clock.

What time is The Block on tonight?

Seven o'clock, for 101 minutes. Reveal nights start half an hour earlier than the Monday-to-Wednesday builds, which is why the guide has 60 Minutes waiting at 8.41pm rather than the usual 8.40-ish handover.

It is episode 29 and the seventh reveal of the Mt Eliza season. The last build night, Wednesday's episode 28, left painting unfinished in all five houses, and our write-up of that night covers the row that came with it.

What is the $100,000 riding on the kitchens?

Nine's own listing puts it plainly: find out who wins $100,000 for their kitchen in judging. It is not a single cheque. As we set out in Thursday's catch-up post, it bundles a gold bar that gets auctioned with the house, a stone allowance to spend elsewhere in the build, and a straight room prize.

The ladder makes it sharper than most reveals. On our running tally of every weekly score this season, House 4 sits half a point ahead of House 1. Half a point, with three judges about to hand out marks out of ten each.

Is The Voice on at the same time?

Yes, and it is the semi-final. Seven has it from 7.00pm to 9.00pm, so the two shows overlap for 101 minutes — the entire Block episode.

Eight artists are left, two from each team. Ronan Keating, Melanie C, Kate Miller-Heidke and Richard Marx each get to send exactly one of their pair to the grand final, so four of the eight go home tonight. Sonia Kruger hosts. Seven still has not published a grand final date; it goes into our finals page the moment it does.

What time does the reveal start in Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane?

Seven o'clock in all three. This trips people up, because Perth is two hours behind Sydney on the clock and Adelaide half an hour behind, so you would expect the broadcast to land at 5.00pm and 6.30pm.

When is the Kitchen Reveal repeated?

Twice this week on Nine, plus 9Now. The channel has it at noon on Monday and again at 1.35pm on Saturday, and the episode goes up on 9Now free shortly after it finishes tonight.

For The Voice, 7plus does the same job. Nothing about tonight is pay-walled on either service.

What's on The Block after tonight?
