The Block Rumpus and Laundry Reveal, Monday 28 September: Courtney and Sev Win Week 8

The reveal was meant for Sunday, but the Wallabies Test took Nine's night, so it went to air at 7.31pm AEST on Monday instead. It ran 92 minutes and ended just after 9pm. Why Sunday's episode moved is explained separately.
Who won the rumpus room reveal on The Block tonight?
Courtney and Sev, from House 4. Domain and TheBlock.tv both have them on 29.5, with one judge holding back half a point. The two write-ups don't agree on which judge that was, so we're not naming one.
Darren Palmer called their rumpus his favourite room on The Block, which Domain and Home Beautiful both reported. Home Beautiful points out it isn't clear whether he meant this season or every season.
What got them there: a custom timber cabinet Sev designed to hide the TV, furniture sized to the room, and a mini dishwasher just for glasses. Domain says the joinery was the detail nobody else could match.
How did the other four teams go?
Only the winner's score has been matched across two outlets so far. The TheBlock.tv recap has the full order, and we've listed it below as reported, not confirmed.

Two things are settled. Lisa and Rosco took the CommBank Better Budgeting award for a second week running. And Chantel and Wyatt's rumpus came in for the heaviest criticism: Domain says the judges found it too minimal and uninviting, the kind of room that says "do not touch".
Adam and Jolene had the one laundry detail everyone mentioned. They were the only pair to put in heated floors, and Marty Fox called it "a pretty sexy laundry".
Who's leading The Block 2026 after eight weeks?
On room wins, Courtney and Sev, clearly. They've now taken weeks 1, 2, 6 and 8. Adam and Jolene have two, Lisa and Rosco and Rick and Tayla one each, and Chantel and Wyatt are still waiting.
The points race is tighter. We added up Wikipedia's scoring table for weeks 1 to 7: Adam and Jolene went into tonight on 175, Courtney and Sev on 173. Tonight's 29.5 takes Courtney and Sev to 202.5. If Adam and Jolene's reported 26.5 holds, they sit on 201.5, one point behind.

What did the winners get?
Not confirmed at time of writing. Nine's guide billed the reveal with a $10,000 prize. The TheBlock.tv recap puts Courtney and Sev's total haul for the week at $30,000 once a sponsor bonus is counted, but that's a single source.
When is the next Block reveal?
Kids Room and Re-Do Room Week starts on Tuesday. Home Beautiful and TheBlock.tv both say every team gets $10,000 to redo a room they've already finished, and the rejudged rooms play for another $10,000.
Build nights run Tuesday to Thursday at 7.30pm AEST on Nine, with the homes opened to the public on Thursday. There's no Block on Sunday 4 October, which belongs to the NRL Grand Final.
