The Block Terrace and Pool Reveal, Sunday 11 October: Adam and Jolene Win With 29

Bottom line:

Nine's own episode recap and the fan recap site TheBlock.tv publish the same five totals, so those are the numbers below. The episode went out at 7.00pm AEDT on Nine, the first Sunday reveal since the Grand Final gap; Sunday's episode guide has the running time.

Who won the terrace and pool reveal on The Block tonight?

Adam and Jolene, from House 1, on 29. Nine's recap says Courtney and Sev were a quarter of a point in front after Darren Palmer and Marty Fox had scored. Jolene then played the secret gnome she'd worn around her neck since the couple won the Domain Buyers Jury. It added a point to Shaynna Blaze's score and turned a loss into a win.

The judges' favourite part was the outdoor kitchen, built with the Dekton stone the couple had won earlier in the season: fridge, barbecue, wok and pizza oven. Marty Fox said you wouldn't find one as good on the Mount Eliza market unless the house was in the $10 million range. Shaynna Blaze was less sold on the upper terrace, which she called "cluttered with furniture, with accessories".

Nine's listing advertised $10,000 for the winning terrace and pool. TheBlock.tv's recap adds a Chery getaway to Pt Leo Estate, which Nine's recap doesn't mention, so take that extra as per TheBlock.tv.

Nine's recap doesn't publish the three judges' individual marks, only the totals, so the split per judge is not confirmed at time of writing.

How did the other four teams score?

Courtney and Sev's 28.25 came from the biggest deck of the five. Marty Fox said the barbecue and dining area, with a fan and a heater, hit the "Goldilocks zone". The deck still had boards missing, and Shaynna Blaze said she felt "really sad" for the pair because the unfinished space was "a knockout".

Chantel and Wyatt's 25.5 is their best finish since Guest Suite Week by our count. Darren Palmer said the pool area "doesn't look cheap and it doesn't look stingy, it still looks luxury". There was no barbecue, and Shaynna Blaze didn't like the plants, the bench seat or the inflatable flamingo. The pool tiles behind the row in Thursday's episode went unmentioned by the judges, per Nine's recap.

Lisa and Rosco scored 22. Their pool fence starts about a metre from the alfresco area, leaving an empty walkway, and Shaynna Blaze called it "a huge mistake and this is a non-negotiable to fix". The pool had no stairs yet, an excuse Darren Palmer rejected in language Nine bleeped. TheBlock.tv says the pair still took the $10,000 CommBank Better Budgeting award.

Rick and Tayla's 21.5 is the week's low score. The judges praised the stone, the olive tree growing through the deck and the native planting, but the deck wasn't finished and the seating was huddled in one spot. "At the end of the day it's not finished and this is the hero week," Marty Fox said.

Who's leading The Block 2026 after ten weeks?

Courtney and Sev still lead, but the gap closed. We keep a running tally of every reveal score. Going into Sunday their lead over Adam and Jolene was nine and a half points; a 28.25 against a 29 cuts it to eight and three quarters.

The weeks 1 to 9 column is the tally we published with the kids room scores, and it matches a sum of Wikipedia's season 22 table with the week 7 kitchen counted as 30 after Adam and Jolene's earlier gnome. Their room wins are weeks 5, 7 and 10, which TheBlock.tv also calls their third. Week 8 is on our rumpus and laundry page. The tally is a form guide only; The Block is decided at auction.

When is the next Block reveal?

The next episode is Monday 12 October at 7.30pm AEDT on Nine and 9Now, episode 42, which opens Backyard and Garage Week. Nine's guide and TVmaze both have it at 78 minutes, and Nine's recap teases "tears, threats of disqualification" for the week ahead.

The judging is listed for Sunday 18 October at 7.00pm AEDT as the Backyard and Garage Reveal, episode 45. That's TVmaze's listing; Nine's guide only ran to Saturday 17 October when we checked, so treat the Sunday date as listed rather than locked. Our planner for 12 to 18 October has each night.

How to watch The Block covers 9Now catch-up, the capital city times guide has Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide clocks, and the auction date guide will carry the date once Nine sets one. Older results sit under Who Went Home and on our Block page.

FAQ

Would Adam and Jolene have won without the gnome?
No. Nine's recap says Courtney and Sev led by 0.25 after two judges, and TheBlock.tv says the gnome went on Shaynna Blaze's score. Without it Adam and Jolene's total would have been 28 against 28.25.

Can I watch the terrace and pool reveal again?
Yes. It's season 22, episode 41, on 9Now, free with a Nine account. Nine's guide, read on Sunday 11 October, also lists a daytime replay on Nine at 12.00pm on Monday 12 October.
