Quick answer:
- The Block is on Nine and 9Now on Monday 5 October at 7.30pm AEDT, and it's a judging night: the Kids Room and Re-Do Room Reveal.
- It's the reveal that would normally have gone out on Sunday. Nine gave Sunday 4 October to the NRL Grand Final, so the scores land a day late.
- Nine's guide puts $10,000 on the line for the winning rooms and runs the episode for a bit over an hour and a half.
What time is The Block on tonight?
7.30pm AEDT on Nine for the Monday 5 October episode. Nine's yourTV guide for Sydney has it starting at 7.31pm and running 96 minutes, which takes it past 9.00pm. TVmaze files the same episode at 7.30pm with a slightly longer running time.
The clock time hasn't moved with daylight saving. Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart went to AEDT on Sunday 4 October, so 7.30pm is simply 7.30pm AEDT now. Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia don't change clocks, and Nine schedules some of those markets locally; our capital city times guide explains how each one is handled.
Is The Block new tonight, or a repeat?
New. Both guides list Monday 5 October as season 22, episode 37, a first-run episode. The same episode gets a daytime replay on Nine at 12.00pm on Tuesday 6 October, according to yourTV, and it goes to 9Now after broadcast.
What happens on The Block on Monday 5 October?
It's judging for what Nine's synopsis calls the last inside rooms in the house. The five teams hand over a kids' room and a re-do room each, and the judges score them. Nine's listing also says Dan and Dani bring their baby in for a visit.
The prize in the listing is $10,000. Courtney and Sev won it with a perfect 30, according to Home Beautiful and TheBlock.tv; all five scores are on the results page linked at the top.
Why wasn't The Block on Sunday night?
Because Nine had the NRL Grand Final on Sunday 4 October. That bumped the weekly reveal to Monday, the second time in two weeks sport has taken the Sunday slot. The full reasoning, and how the week was reshuffled, is in our explainer on the Grand Final Sunday gap.
The last episode before the break was Thursday's buyers jury day, which we previewed in the 1 October rundown.
Who won the last room reveal on The Block?
Courtney and Sev took Rumpus and Laundry Week on Monday 28 September. The scores we could confirm are on the 28 September results page, and every earlier night sits in the Block archive.
Is The Block on tomorrow night?
Yes. Tuesday 6 October at 7.30pm AEDT opens Outdoor Terrace and Pool Week, a 77-minute episode in Nine's guide. The synopsis says the teams are upset after Monday's results and that host Scott Cam has a surprise for them.
Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 October are build nights too, both at 7.30pm. Then there's nothing on Friday or Saturday before the Outdoor Terrace and Pool Reveal on Sunday 11 October at 7.00pm, which yourTV now lists as well as TVmaze. The planner for 5 to 11 October has the whole week.
Where can I stream The Block?
9Now carries it live and on catch-up, free with a Nine account. Our how to watch The Block guide covers the standing nights, and the auction date guide tracks how many weeks are left.
