What Time Is The Block On Tonight? Monday 21 September: Rumpus and Laundry Week Starts at 7.30pm

Short version: The Block is on at 7.30pm tonight on Nine and 9Now, it's episode 30 and the first of three build nights, and The Voice isn't on because Seven has the Brownlow Medal. The Voice is back for its Grand Finale on Sunday.

What time is The Block on tonight?

Half past seven. Both guides we checked have Nine starting it at 7.31pm, so 7.30pm is safe to switch over, and the 75-minute slot puts the finish near 8.48pm, where Nine has 100% Footy in Sydney.

Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart all get it on the same clock. Adelaide and Darwin run half an hour behind, and Nine's Perth station sets its own time. Daylight saving splits the country on Sunday 4 October, and the capital city times guide has the state-by-state version.

What happens on The Block tonight?

Two rooms and a curveball. Nine's listing for episode 30 says the teams are pushed to their limits with two rooms to complete, then Scotty Cam throws in a challenge "that touches hearts" — which, read against Tuesday's and Wednesday's listings about giving something back to the community, sounds like a charity build rather than a cash challenge.

Rumpus and Laundry Week is the seventh room pairing of the Mt Eliza season. It's worth $10,000 at the reveal, a tenth of what Kitchen Week paid, so the real value is the judges' points.

Is The Voice on tonight?

No. Seven's Monday night belongs to the 2026 AFL Brownlow Medal: the red carpet at 7.30pm, the count from 8.00pm, and the medal handed over at roughly 10.10pm. That runs to about 10.45pm, and Seven doesn't return to normal programming until 11.00pm.

The Voice is down to four after Sunday's semi-final, and Seven has now dated the end of it: the Grand Finale is 7.00pm on Sunday 27 September. Adam and Jolene, by two points, and only since Sunday. Their perfect 30 for the kitchen took House 1 to 175 on our running tally and knocked Courtney and Sev, on 173, off a lead they'd held for weeks. Lisa and Rosco sit third on 160½.

When is the next Block reveal?
